Owner and skipper
Welcome aboard! I'm Paolo, your skipper for the day. I was born on this island 31 years ago, and have grown up surrounded by the history, natural beauty, and celebrities that have made Capri so famous. Set sail with me on an amazing adventure!
Though I worked for years in luxury hospitality, I always dreamed of switching careers to combine my passion for the sea with my work. I offered boat tours as a part-time hobby for 8 years before finally making it my full-time job.
I love the sense of freedom of setting sail, and the friendship that develops during the time on board with my clients. On each tour, I see how the day begins with clients keeping a bit to themselves before they begin to relax into the rhythm of the waves and the warmth of my island hospitality. As the day passes, they are swept away with the spirit of surprise and discovery...by the time we return to port, they have huge smiles. This is why I extend this invitation to each client: set sail on an amazing adventure!

What happens if there is bad weather?
Paolo will keep you updated on the sailing conditions. Sometimes the day begins with inclement weather or rain on Capri, but later the sun comes out and it's a beautiful day. If the inclement weather continues into the day, the tour can be cancelled at no charge.
Can Paolo give us information about visiting the Blue Grotto?
Of course! The Blue Grotto is one of the most famous sights on Capri, and is a breathtaking, one-of-a-kind sea cave. It's important to note, however, that the queue to visit can get very long, so please let Paolo know in advance if you are interested in visiting so he can schedule your day accordingly. Sometimes two hours aren't enough time to visit the Grotto and tour the island, so if you are planning on visiting the Blue Grotto, it's is best to book a longer tour. Entrance tickets to the Blue Grotto must be purchased separately, and cost €14. The Grotto opens around 9 am, when the staff arrives at the entrance of the cave to confirm that it is open for the day, as sea and weather conditions are not always favorable and some days the Grotto remains closed.
Do I need to pay a deposit for the tour?
Absolutely not! Paolo believes that your choice to discover Capri, Italy by sea with him is guarantee enough. He will take your credit card details to confirm your bookig, but you will not be charged. Only in cases of no-show will clients be charged a penalty.
How can I pay?
You can pay on board in cash or by credit card.
What do I need to bring on board?
Just your swim suit and sun block! You will find towels, water, and everything else you need for an amazing adventure at sea on board.
How much time does it take to sail around the island of Capri?
It takes at least two hours if you want to sail the entire island and stop for a swim, but if you would also like to visit the Blue Grotto, you will need to book at least a 3 or 4 hour tour.
Are there seaside restaurants where we can stop for lunch if we have booked a full-day tour?
Yes, there are a number of excellent seaside restaurants on Capri that we can sail to. Let Paolo know ahead of time and he will take care of reserving a table for you.
